PREPARED FOR HURRICANE SEASON?

We were clearly not prepared to deal with COVID-19, so let's make sure we are prepared for the upcoming Atlantic hurricane season starting Monday, June1.

That's according to the calendar, but the weather clearly didn't care about the calendar. We already had two named storms this year -- storms that missed Florida.

I assume that most of you are hurricane "veterans" -- meaning you already experienced a few hurricanes.

A hurricane is bad enough and can do lots of damage. But nothing is worse than not being prepared when the hurricane closes in on your area.

Remember the empty shelves in the paper aisles in your store at the beginning of the Pandemic? That's exactly how the battery and water bottle shelves look like when the hurricane advisory tells you that the storm will hit your area within 24 hours.

Make sure you are prepared when the next hurricane hits. It's not a matter of "IF", it's just a matter of "WHEN".

associations. He moved to Florida in 1995 - hoping to retire. He moved into a HOA, where the developer cheated the homeowners and used the association dues for his own purposes. End of retirement!

The organization has two websites to inform interested Florida homeowners and condo owners:

We think that only owners can really represent owners, since all service providers surely have a different interest! We are trying to create owner-friendly laws, but the best laws are useless without enforcement. And enforcement is totally lacking in Florida !
