NOT SO FAST

     I have to disagree with Eric. I believe there are cases where board members are harassed every bit as much as our current President! While these type of antics can and have been experienced throughout the entire state of Florida, I will say it seems to be far worse the more south you go! Let me just throw out a few of such incidents and let’s see if they sound familiar.

  1. The night after the election the new President has a dead bird placed on car and all tires are slashed.

  2. Board President has car spray painted with the words “Liar & Thief”.

  3. Someone photoshops a board members face onto a “convicted pedophile flyer” and posts throughout the community.

  4. After election results are announced, owners throw chairs and throws punches at new board.

     So maybe these aren’t as bad, but if you are on the receiving end, it can feel pretty awful. Serving in any elected position assures that there will always be haters who hate. There will be those who fully support you and those who don’t! But as long as you know you’re doing the very best possible, with all things considered, then let it roll off your back,
