The
battle was won to include HOA’s to the oversight of the DPBR.
Now, the war begins. What war is that, you ask? The war between
Association Members and the DPBR on holding Cam’s responsible
for their actions and to issue penalties for infractions that
send a clear message of what level of professionalism is
expected from all CAM licensees. But, let’s reverse that line of
thinking! Who is overseeing the DPBR? Who is ensuring that they
are properly overseeing the CAMS? Far too many CAM’s break the
rules and merely receive a slap on the hand. YES, the DPBR is a
fountain of resources and information. HOA’s should be pleased
that they now have access to these benefits, but now it’s time
for everyone to stand up and demand higher standards from the
CAMS and accept no less! If a CAM can’t abide by the
requirements, they should lose their license for a minimum of 1
year! What do you think?
