WOW,
if Eric's estimations are correct and 50% of Associations have
not met the November 23rd, 2013 deadline to register, there is
the potential for an estimated 25,000 HOA's to be counted with
an estimated four million members!
Four
million members equates to four million voters who can and
should join forces, get involved and support the efforts Jan
Bergman/CCFJ and Eric Glazer put forth every year to enhance the
benefits supervision and oversight of Homeowners Associations.
Condominium
Concepts is predominantly a "Condominium Association
Management Firm". Currently we manage Associations in
Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. Our portfolio is
comprised of 18,000 condominiums, 800 single family homes and
3000 apartments. I tell you this information to make a point.
While we do manage some "Homeowners Associations"
successfully, we have experienced far more unsuccessful
relationships. Priding ourselves in our established Policy and
Procedures and our very hands on Management style, we have found
time and time again that many HOA Boards, don't follow what
little protocol is provided in the state statute. In addition,
we find Board Presidents operating as dictators and using
Association funds as their personal accounts. Top this off with
little to no regulations on elections and many Homeowners find
it hard to weed out these problem individuals.

let your vote count to make the necessary changes and protect
your investment as well as the integrity of your Association.
