WHAT’S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER.

This week, I’d like to take a slightly different approach to our blog topic. Our faithful readers know I defend all rights of the Homeowners and take to task the LCAMs that don’t provide a high level of service or who fail to follow the state statute. Yes, I’m glad to see the state treats LCAMs as professionals but what happens when LCAMs are held responsible for the actions of the Board? Even the best LCAMs can get caught in the crossfire when a Board takes matters and decisions into their own hands and are of the opinion they are the end all decision makers!!

 

My guess is there are just as many unscrupulous Board Members as there are LCAM Management Firms/Individuals. Don’t you think it’s time legislation is passed to ensure only qualified individuals can serve on the Boards HOA’s? To better serve the Homeowners or Condominium owners, both the Board Members and LCAMs should be provided with state regulations and required to attend regular educational seminars. Right?
