Every
Thanksgiving week, I basically use the same blog, and change
it up with new current events. Here we go……..
This
might be tough for many of you. Israel is at war with
terrorists. Our own country seems right on the brink. Food
prices are still high. Gasoline prices are still high.
Interest rates have still stymied the real estate market.
Your paycheck is buying less and less.
COVID is
somehow still hanging around as well. Yes, there are
certainly things to be grumpy about.
Today
however, I want you to think positive. You owe it to
yourself. Let’s run in the other direction. Let’s put on
that smiley face and turn that frown upside down.
Today, I
want you to tell me some things that you are thankful
about. I don’t mean your family. I want you to narrow it
down to your condo or HOA community.
Maybe you live in a community with a Board of Directors
composed of people who have served for many years and have
done a great job. Maybe your maintenance crew is
fantastic. How about the manager of the community?
I’m very
thankful for the members of the Board in my community. I’ll
be honest. I have previously been asked to join the Board
but I would rather jump out of an airplane without a
parachute. So……I’m thankful for those that make the hard
decisions in my community.
I’m happy
for an older woman who spends her time feeding the ducks
down by the lake. I’m also happy for the police officer
that keeps our community safe.
Now it’s
your turn. Please list your comments below. It’s not too
difficult to say something nice about your community if you
try. I’M ASKING………..Give it a try.
