LIFE IS GETTING BACK TO NORMAL!

Life I
getting back to normal: THANK GOD! We all suffered long
enough from this Pandemic and its really time to start living
the good life again.
But sadly
to say, there are still folks out there who are unwilling to
give up the power the danger of infection gave them -- and many
sure abused them. Despite Governor Ron DeSantis signing a bill
that stops folks from suing associations claiming they are at
fault that they got infected with the virus, something nobody
can prove anyway beyond reasonable doubt, boards are still
holding on to the tactics they used during the Pandemic: Holding
board meetings and even annual meetings by Zoom, noticing the
meeting as required, but conveniently forgetting to add the Zoom
access code to the meeting notice and then claiming that
because there was no quorum the sitting board will serve another
year.
The
dictatorial times are over and life goes on. The laws and
rules regulating community associations are still valid as
they always were even if certain boards, managers and lawyers
claimed that they could plainly be ignored, saying that
executive orders allowed them to ignore these laws.
They were wrong then and they are definitely wrong now! Go
out, have burning face mask parties and enjoy life! Thats the
spirit to keep us all going!

associations. He moved to
Florida
in 1995 - hoping to retire. He moved into a HOA, where the
developer cheated the homeowners and used the association dues
for his own purposes. End of retirement!
CCFJ was born in the year 2000, when some owners met in
Tallahassee
- finding out that power is only in numbers. Bergemann was a
member of Governor Jeb Bush's HOA Task force in 2003/2004.
The organization has two websites to inform interested
Florida
homeowners and condo owners:

Educational Website: http://www.ccfjfoundation.net/.
We think that only owners can really represent owners, since all
service providers surely have a different interest! We are
trying to create owner-friendly laws, but the best laws are
useless without enforcement. And enforcement is totally lacking
in
Florida
