OL’ GLORY – FLYING PROUD?

May be I’m old fashioned, but for me the NATIONAL ANTHEM and OL’ GLORY are our nation’s pride and should be respected by everybody who is a US citizen.

No matter what kind of politics some folks may disagree with, disrespecting our flag and our national anthem is unacceptable. PERIOD!

And if some totally overpaid sports “heroes” feel otherwise, they should go elsewhere and leave this country for greener pastures – since they obviously don’t like it here.

A few weeks ago some German soccer fans whistled during the playing of the national anthem – much to the dismay of a wide majority of Germans. They blasted these overeager “fans”. But the real difference was made by the media: The German media condemned these fans, ridiculed them and let them know that their behavior was unacceptable.

And that’s the difference: The media in this country makes these people who clearly disrespect our flag and our national anthem heroes and applauds their actions.

But what else can we expect from our “esteemed” media? They cheer on protesters who burn cars, destroy other peoples’ property and try to explain to us that all this is protected by the FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT: FREE SPEECH!

Not sure where these “reporters” went to school – or where they get their wisdom from. For me destroying other peoples’ property is a criminal act and should be punished accordingly – with jail time!

Some years ago our organization fought hard for owners’ right to fly “Ol’ Glory” on their property in homeowners’ associations. Please see the articles under the headline of “THE BATTLE OVER OL’ GLORY”.

We succeeded: In court and in the Florida legislature!

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN CITIZEN – and I have nothing but disgust for people who disrespect our flag and our national anthem!

associations. He moved to Florida in 1995 - hoping to retire. He moved into a HOA, where the developer cheated the homeowners and used the association dues for his own purposes. End of retirement!

CCFJ was born in the year 2000, when some owners met in Tallahassee - finding out that power is only in numbers. Bergemann was a member of Governor Jeb Bush's HOA Task force in 2003/2004.

The organization has two websites to inform interested Florida homeowners and condo owners:

We think that only owners can really represent owners, since all service providers surely have a different interest! We are trying to create owner-friendly laws, but the best laws are useless without enforcement. And enforcement is totally lacking in Florida !
