NOT ALL BANKS ARE THE SAME!

If you think a bank is a bank you have another thing coming. You
wouldn’t believe how big the differences can be. But – like in
most contracts – you find the traps only on page 5 or later – in
very small print.
No matter where you get a loan from, make sure that your own
money stays local. Don’t let some management company tell you
that your money is better taken care of in Arizona or the
Carolinas. It may be for the time being, but if your money is
not in a bank in your neighborhood you can’t just go there and
change the signature-card if need be. The closer your bank, the
easier it is to really control your money.
Especially if you decide to change management companies, a bank
around the corner makes your life much easier. If the
termination doesn’t go without a lawsuit, you are a lot better
off if you have your money instead of having to sue for it.
Even in our computer-age a local bank has many advantages – and
often a much more personal service.
In today’s money market there is a fierce competition among
banks. Make sure you take advantage of that. You can save
yourself a lot of money!

Florida
in 1995 - hoping to retire. He moved into a HOA, where the
developer cheated the homeowners and used the association dues
for his own purposes. End of retirement!
CCFJ was born in the year 2000, when some owners met in

- finding out that power is only in numbers. Bergemann was a

The organization has two websites to inform interested

homeowners and condo owners:

We think that only owners can really represent owners, since all
service providers surely have a different interest! We are
trying to create owner-friendly laws, but the best laws are
useless without enforcement. And enforcement is totally lacking
