KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

Remember, for most of you buying a home is the biggest investment in your life. Shouldn’t you know how to protect your investment by knowing the laws and rules governing the community you invest in?

I think that many owners still think that only board members should attend these seminars. I think that’s absolutely wrong. How can you protect your investment if you don’t know what’s right or wrong – or how the board should manage your association?

Each year many associations waste a lot of funds caused by the incompetence of board member and management. An association is a business – and it has to be run as such. If the board mismanages the business, all owners have to pay for the mistakes.

In order to prevent the board and management to make costly mistakes, all owners should monitor their actions. But how can you monitor the association business if you don’t have a basic idea how the association should be managed?

Knowledge is power – and attending these seminars gives you the knowledge to watch out for your investment.

Seminars are free – and it’s fun. If you haven’t registered for the Condo Craze Board Certification Class on November 15th, 2016 at 7:00 pm (Check-in at 6:00pm) at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, please click on the link below and register. There are still a few seats available.

SEE YOU THERE!

associations. He moved to Florida in 1995 - hoping to retire. He moved into a HOA, where the developer cheated the homeowners and used the association dues for his own purposes. End of retirement!

We think that only owners can really represent owners, since all service providers surely have a different interest! We are trying to create owner-friendly laws, but the best laws are useless without enforcement. And enforcement is totally lacking in Florida !
