WHY NOT? IT’S FREE!!!

For years now, Affinity Management Services has been a proud sponsor of Condo Craze & HOA's. One of the reasons we've stuck around for so many years is due to the fact the Eric does a superb job teaching the Board Certification course.  The information provided is plentiful; however, he knows how to throw humor into it, making the topics relatable.

 

I wish these board certification classes would be required for a board member to attend rather than signing a silly affidavit.  I've found it's easier to work with a board that understands the laws and changes that occurred each year. I'm sure I'll catch some heat for this next statement; however, I believe all board members should be required to attend every year.  What's three (3) hours for a wealth of knowledge that will help you manage your association's matters in a more responsible way. I believe if you don't have those three hours than maybe you should be on the board.

 

I'm curious if our readers feel the same way.  Should board members be required to attend the course each year? Should the state do away with the silly affidavit?
