       Florida is the largest state with Community Associations, out of the 13 million voters, 9.5 million residents live within a community association. The voice that associations have is massive, and should they unite, they could make an impact on the way our legislators handle things. Imagine what would happen if our Senators and House members received 9 million emails? I’m sure if that happened, many things would change very quickly.

 

        My experience has shown that it’s much easier to work with a Board that has taken a Board Certification course. They have a much better understanding of what it takes to manage an association and the importance of the changes that potentially occur to the laws each year.

Send them an e-mail today that says:
“I’m writing to demand that The Florida Legislature remove the ability of officers and directors of community associations to become certified by signing an affidavit. All Florida community association directors and officers must be required to attend an educational course approved by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.”
